Eligibility & Conditions
You (the policyholder and the pet owner) are a Saudi citizen or resident AND your pet lives with you in Saudi Arabia.
You can take your pet for complimentary vet check up & microchipping at any Aleef clinic in Riyadh after purchasing the policy. Accident coverage starts right after the health check & microchipping; illness related cover starts only 45-days after.
What Is covered by pet insurance?
Injury & illness
If your pet suffers an injury or illness requiring medical treatment, we will cover the vet fees from our approved veterinarians for customary and medically necessary procedures.
Diagnostics & surgery
If your pet requires diagnostic, medical, or surgical treatment due to an accident or illness, we will cover the reasonable and customary costs at our approved veterinary practice.
Complementary treatment
We cover prescription diets (clinical diets prescribed by your vet) and complementary treatments (such as hydrotherapy, herbal or homeopathic medicine, physiotherapy, etc.) recommended by your vet as part of the treatment for a covered illness or accident.
Theft or straying
If your pet is stolen or goes missing during the insurance period and is not recovered within 45 days, we will pay you the maximum benefit specified in your schedule.
Accidental death
If your pet accidentally dies during the insurance period, we will reimburse you for the purchase price you paid for your pet, up to the maximum benefit specified in your schedule.
Third party liability (Dogs)
If your pet causes an accident resulting in property damage, injury, or death during the insurance period, we will cover the compensation and legal costs awarded against you by a court in the KSA.
